Bernard returns to give his first talk in two years, Bernard revisits his vast selection to focus on the famed "Western" Class locomotives and their duties across the Western Region
Please note that physical meetings will resume from the 4th October 2021, with Covid still lurking the following guidance has been agreed with the PRC Committee and St Edwards Church.
Upon arrival please sanitise your hands, wearing a face covering is recommended, social distancing is at your discretion and chairs can be moved if you would like some distance between other members. Annual General Meeting followed by Bernard Mills - "Rathad nan Eilean"
The long overdue AGM will be held in the first half of the evening with reports from the committee and a new President will be elected. After the tea break Bernard Mills will entertain everyone with a digital slide show entitled Rathad nan Eilean.

An overview illustrated by at least seven major gauges of railways through two world wars and the rise and fall of Communism. Featuring the changing roles of steam and diesel trains.

Bernard Mills: "The Mills Pandemic Railway Year"
Our annual celebration of the last two year's railway events, as always presented by Bernard who, though restricted by the curtailment of travel imposed by Covid19, finds plenty to record with his camera and will take the opportunity to reflect more fully on previous "then and now" scenes. The focus will be between Cockwood Harbour and Moorswater. Highlights include the final cement train into Moorswater. There has been more than expected of interest traversing the SouthWest!
